Firstly, a note from our founder

Thank you to those who have allowed us to share their experiences within our spaces 🤎 Healing in communion is deeply ancestral and sacred. Therefore, those who enter our spaces may do so as students, however, are affectionately named Sisters.
- Sincerely, Shyy

“Praise for the work
Praise for the story + the purpose
Praise for heavy is the crown, praise for heavy is the burden
Praise for all of the becoming
The lessons learned, the journey between getting lost and finding a way only to do it all over again
Praise for the all over again
Praise for this is the work
This right here is healing, these words are my offerings.
This right here is holy”

What people are saying

The Coven was a space for me personally to step into sisterhood. For me to also meet other black women who are also powerful spiritualists... who were seeking community around their spiritual identity, around creating a safe space to explore their blackness and their queerness and their witchiness - together.

It was a really evolving space for me that allowed me to really name the fact that sisterhood is important to my joy, and how I want to create community in my life. Sisterhood really grounds me in a sense of understanding of who I am. So The Coven is a really beautiful space

*A note of appreciation to Chirelle: “You came in as a student, connected as a Sister, blossomed into your bigness + purpose; It has been a pleasure watching you grow. Over the years we have connected, cried, plotted and elevated to higher levels of growth. I met you during the very first cohort of The Coven and I was so frikkin nervous. Yet, everything turned out beautiful. And now you create your own spaces.” Sincerely Shyy

Chirelle Letrese will be returning to The Coven for Cohort 4, this time as a facilitator, sharing her practice as a tarot reader + creative coach with the new students of the space.

Generosity of Spirit” is how I would describe Sincerely’s capacity to hold space for community through expressive arts and healing. I have had the opportunity to witness the ways in which her words speak truth to power as both a poetess and practitioner. Over the past two years while collaborating with Sincerely as a facilitator with The Coven Cohorts I have always been so inspired by how much care and intentionality goes into the creation of transformative circles of radical love and revolutionary change. Knowing Sincerely and engaging in her practices have gifted me with a deeper sense of sisterhood and self-empowerment, and for that, I am truly grateful.

I participated in the coven during a pivotal time in my life as an aboriginal woman. I remember lying on the floor closing my eyes and listening to the words that were shared. I will never forget how deeply my spirit was fed. Thank you.

The series helped me learn how to dialogue with my pussy instead of dissociating from them, particularly as a location of both tightly held trauma as well as spiritual healing. Shianne offered me the medicine of poetry in the most gentle and loving way and helped me to start moving the pain of intergenerational patriarchal and sexual violence through and out of my womb space.

The coven appeared at a time in my life where I was in need of something- a connection to something bigger -even though I didn’t know it until it landed in front of me. Once it did, there was no question. The Coven served as a space where I could be my unapologetic, mystical self… in a space filled with women who were moving through life in ways similar to mine while being their uniquely inspiring selves. Big ups to Shyy for having the vision, the magic, and the voice needed to birth this beautiful world into being, into remembering. Being in the ranks of beautiful souls that are The Coven is an honor, and I and forever grateful.
